Greenwood Cemetery

Old Pioneer CemeteryHere, in one of the oldest cemeteries in Dallas you will find the graves of mayors, businessmen, civic leaders, war veterans, a man who was stabbed to death by a national guardsmen when President Taft came to town in 1909, the lawyer who defended the man who stabbed him, and even a crusading Socialist.

Please note that there are a lot more celebrated citizens buried in this cemetery than ones listed below. This is meant only to be a representative sample.
