An "X" painted in the middle of Elm Street, just below the "Grassy Knoll" marks the spot where President Kennedy's limousine was passing when he was first struck by an assassin's bullet. It can easily be viewed from the sidewalk.
It is important to note that traffic is almost continuously passing over this spot. It is NOT safe, unless the road has been blocked off, as it was on November 22, 2003, to stand here!
